After discovering real werecats at Moonscar Island, the Mystery Gang discover there's one more haunted house on the list: Boudreaux Manor. But this isn't an ordinary monster, it's a spirit tangled in the upstairs plumbing!

While working on TV show that is going into a second season, Daphne and Blake mention that they will be on the hunt for an actual haunted house or location. And they are so busy that they forgot about Daphne's own birthday. Fred gets an idea to invite the others. After a lot of usually style mysteries, they find out about Moonscar Island. When they get there, they get more haunted stuff then Daphne or Blake really wanted for their show. After meeting suspicious characters, cat creatures, and real zombies, things start getting even worse when an army of Apathy show up. After non stop bad guys in masks, the gang go their separate ways and take different career paths in life. Fred and Daphne are doing a TV show, Scooby and Shaggy have a successful restaurant, and Velma became the Pokémon professor of Sinnoh after Professor Rowan. But, Fred gets the gang back together as a birthday surprise for Daphne, and even brings Ash, Serena, and Goh along as well for the upcoming trip to the Baie region being taken for Daphne's show's second season in hopes of finding real ghosts or monsters. However, things get to be a bit to much when our heroes arrive on Moonscar Island and a horde of zombies rise from the grave!
