Rose Weasley glared at Scorpius Malfoy from across the Great Hall. She couldn't stand him. He was so full of himself! "You're watching him again," Lily whispered in Rose's ear, making her jump. "No, I'm not. I'm observing," Rose argued. Lily gave Rose a look as if to say: Really? Rose gave her the look back. Lily rolled her eyes. "You still like him. I can tell," Lily said abruptly. Rose turned red, but was still in complete denial. "I don't know what you're talking about," Rose denied. "Mm hmm," Lily replied, still unconvinced.

Scorpius and Albus hated each other since they first saw each other. The boys resorted to pranking and violence to hide their complex emotions that developed through the years. Watch them as they get jealous, snog each other senseless and get their soulmarks. Oh, and in the end, they realised that what they wanted and needed was right in front of them. But who said that teenage boys weren't obtuse?

Love is fragile. Rarely, it's fleeting. Albus knew the feeling very well. He held his adoration for his best friend - Scorpius Hyperion Malfoy - in his hand like a small, glass structure. If he were to slip or fall, it would shatter like a firework. He held on carefully; protecting it like it were a small, injured bird. Albus' heart often felt like that - a small, unprotected entity. He'd been foolish to believe that love was safe. It bloomed in his chest; a stupid, frilly flower that hardly hesitated to kill him from the inside out. One single action could fix his issue - he needed to tell Scorpius how he felt. Honestly, when paralleled with those two haunting decisions, he preferred to let the flowers bloom.
