The lack of emotions in his actions were astonishing, leading the whole world to be afraid of him. Eventually, their paths cross, and through hidden emotions, they learn the meaning behind love. Unexpected, frightening love.

Mitch Grassi is 21 years old and living his dream as an up-and-coming singer/songwriter. It's been too long since the name "Scott Hoying" crossed his mind. He doesn't even remember it. Scott is 22 and the youngest CEO ever of Modest Eternal. But, he's burning out and he struggles to remember why he came out to LA to do this, abandoned the love of his life. Mitch introduces Scott to the hidden beauties of Bloomington, takes him into the daunting, yet incredibly exciting city of Chicago that's just a short train ride away, and opens him up to a life and part of himself that he didn't know was there. Through it all, Scott may even be starting to fall for Mitch, but as the summer flies by, what will happen when he has to go back to Texas?

Just some random ideas that pop into my weird mind :)

After an extensive night in his own studio, Scott Hoying had nearly finished composing a new song - Which he can't seem to put a title to. It seems well, but his producers keep reiterating that it's lacking something. So he works tirelessly. The night wears on, and by four in the morning, he's exhausted to the point of hallucinating. But one thing was for certain - He could have sworn that the portrait hanging on his wall, a painting of a young, tattooed brunette, was singing his own song back to him.

I was stuck there for exactly 1,096 days. Trust me, I know. I counted every single one. 1,096 days equals three years and a day. I was stuck in that place for three years and a day. Can't forget the day, the day is important too. I came when I was about six, the wound from my parents' death fresh on my poor, young heart. I wasn't accepted right away. In fact, I don't think I was ever really accepted. See, most of the kids there had been there since they were little, around two or three. They had been there four years longer than I had, so everything was already established. Therefore, when I was adopted, I wasn't missed nor did I miss them. I was adopted by a man. He was young, single, and had no other kids. I loved him very, very much. And so did thousands, millions, of other people. My dad was famous, as luck would have it. He was famous, one of the main singers in a band and one half of a YouTube channel with over two million subscribers. I bet now you're wondering who my dad is. I'll tell you. Just not yet. As I said, he wasn't married, but he lived with his best friend, and they both pitched in with taking care of me. I thought it was kind of cute. And while he was technically my dad, I called his best friend my dad too. They didn't mind. They were both gay anyway. Those two were the best parents I could ask for. Well, I guess I should say 'are'. They still are my parents, after all. I bet now you're really wondering who he is. Fine, I'll tell you. Mitch Grassi.
