Gatsby woke up slowly, eyelids drooping heavily as he struggled to keep awake. His mouth felt like cotton, and his limbs numb. "Nick..." Gatsby has awoken. Things will be revealed, and times will get harder for the little family. The year is 1928, and things are going to take a huge drop.

I hated the way The Great Gatsby ended. All who have read the book and know what happened can agree that the ending was crap. So I decided to rewrite it and give Jay Gatsby another chance with a character I made up.... This will be under heavy editing, all I have is the draft on paper but i hope this isn't too cringe or too bland. I intend on this being a short story but who knows it might go on longer than expected ;). I hope you enjoy :) (btw I don't own any of these characters except my own who will be introduced in the story)
