He nodded, took her hand, walked her to armchairs. She sat down on one and waited for king to do the same. She knew that he had to tell her something really important, she saw that in his eyes. "So, what is so important that I had to came this long way to here?" in her voice, there was full of other questions too, but she only asked the most important one. "Eva... I... I have a really important job for you... This short essay (or whatever you want to call it) tries to cover and explain the full background story of the book series/Netflix show "Outlander" from a historical point of view. It only gives a short, detailed enough overview of the historic events which led to the Battle of Culloden and the battle itself. As I am not a native speaker, there might be some spelling and grammar mistakes.

Set back in time to the Scottish war of independence, this short story is told from the perspective of a Scottish man who has been into and seen the war with his own eyes, then it ended. But the wind is whispering again and it calls for another war.
