Aubree Winter is just a normal girl with a wish; to meet Brian and Scott (Ariana's backup dancers) Coming from a poor family, She can't do a lot of things she wants to do including dancing. As she walks down the street one day, she finds a poster for Brian and Scott's class. Aubree sprints home in excitment to tell her Aunt, who she is staying with for winter break. She then signs up for one of their classes that they are teaching near her. Becoming regretful of her choice, Aubree ignores her nerves and goes to the class.
