The whole town of Maycomb couldn't figure out why no one left the Radley house except for Sierra but that's only because she escapes the house every morning. Although she enjoys leaving the house, she returns to it every afternoon. But what happens when she doesn't escape one morning? Is she the damsel in distress that needs to be saved? Scout Finch's return to Maycomb County years after moving out brings such surprise tinged with nostalgia to her then older self. What ever happened to Jem? The Robinsons? Dill? It is told in this short story.

I made a bet with Rubix456 that I would upload this if I got an A on it. And I did. So here it is. Starting from Chapter 28, I had to write an alternate ending for To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee. We were reading the book in class and our teacher made us do a project on it. I didn't want to speak in front of the class so I chose this option(I had to speak anyway to explain my project so that didn't work). Sorry if it's terrible. I had a word limit of 800 (which I exceeded) so I didn't write as much as I had planned. This is my first attempt at actually writing a story so it will be awful. Any comments or suggestions are greatly appreciated. (Edit: this was originally written in 2020 but figured why not finally upload this hot mess after two years)
