You are a 26-year-old who recently started working at the SCP Foundation. You meet a... particularly interesting anomaly. He seems different from the others. More sentient. You sit down to have a conversation with him, which, halfway through your pleasant talk, there is a breach. You, unable to get to the breach shelter, are stuck with the charming, kind anomaly. The reader has gender-neutral pronouns. There will be no smut. The main characters will be you, SCP 049, and the occasional Clef or Bright. You work at the foundation as a MTF member before gaining a doctorate and becoming a scientist (your still close to your teammates though) eventually becoming a d-class then exposed as anomalous and becoming an SCP your effectively immortal (not invincible) and cannot be affected by mind altering SCP's such as 035 during a containment breach you encounter 035 and make a deal, later you get caught between 096 and several of his victims, right before stumbling on 049 and you suffer extensive damage, unable to heal properly with the effects of the corrosive liquid excreted by the mask, the doctor patches you up, and you slowly find yourselved drawn to each other, (also I'm sorry but the romance with 049 doesn't start until like the middle) as one of my first published writing projects it may not be the best but it's a good storyline Also I should warm u the updated are super wacky, like it could be like a month B4 I update, gotta love procrastination am I right 😅 (Also I don't own any of the art or scps included in the story)

"The Cure To A Broken Heart" is an SCP-049 X Reader, and I'm pleased to have you here to read it. STILL ON HOLD Alright... Okay, so I really had the "balls" to publicate this? Nahhh, unbelievable! I wonder how long it stayed private in my notes on the phone... Anyway! It seems like I really publicated it, and uh, I am surprised I actually did it. It was a test if I am 'ABLE' (haha 076-2 joke) to write x readers, if I can write in my non native language, English and if I know Plague Doctor well, since i could or still can only feel into my own OCs. The idea to actually write an x reader came to me while trying to find an interesting x reader with some scp since I read x readers when I am bored or for fun. And the second idea that the reader should be a chaos insurgent came from me being into Chaos Insurgency and that I don't think someone has done it before. Idea came true on 8th of October 2022 y. when i started writing this... thing. And also! You are reading it at your own risk.
