SCP-3008 Inspired. 4 IKEA shoppers walk and get lost into the pocket dimension of an Infinite IKEA. Infinite IKEA is an IKEA retail store that has an infinite interior space with no outer physical bounds, causing ordinary customers to be trapped inside the building after they become lost within its associated pocket dimension. Infinite IKEA's interior contains a civilization formed by those customers, who are forced to survive and defend themselves against hostile creatures: tall, faceless humanoids wearing IKEA employee uniforms that become violently aggressive towards all humans during the dimension's simulation of night (or in other words, when its closing time), in which its lights go out. SCP-3008, or as you may call it, "Infinite IKEA", is rather a Swedish furniture fever dream. The goal for these 4 protagonists is to survive as they roam around the infinite IKEA looking for food, building bases, and meeting new people who are also trapped in IKEA as they prepare to defend themselves against the Inhumane IKEA Employees which become aggressive at night. Special Containment Procedures: The retail park containing SCP-3008 has been purchased by the Foundation and converted into Site-██. All public roads leading to or passing by Site-██ have been redirected. The entrance to SCP-3008 is to be monitored at all times, and no one is to enter SCP-3008 outside of testing, as permitted by the Senior Researcher. Humans exiting SCP-3008 are to be detained and then debriefed prior to the administration of amnestics. Dependent upon the duration of their stay in SCP-3008, a cover story may need to be generated prior to their release. Any other entities exiting SCP-3008 are to be terminated. Description: SCP-3008 is a large retail unit previously owned by and branded as IKEA, a popular furniture retail chain. A person entering SCP-3008 through the main entrance and then passing out of sight of the doors will find themselves translocated to SCP-3008-1. This displacement will typically go unnoticed as no change will occur from the perspective of the victim; they will generally not become aware until they try to return to the entrance. SCP-3008-1 is a space resembling the inside of an IKEA furniture store, extending far beyond the limits of what could physically be contained within the dimensions of the retail unit. Current measurements indicate an area of at least 10km2 with no visible external terminators detected in any direction. Inconclusive results from the use of laser rangefinders has led to the speculation that the space may be infinite. SCP-3008-1 is inhabited by an unknown number of civilians trapped within prior to containment. Gathered data suggests they have formed a rudimentary civilisation within SCP-3008-1, including the construction of settlements and fortifications for the purpose of defending against SCP-3008-2.

[This story is not being worked on anymore, call it canceled I guess] This is my first story so don't expect much. all really want is feedback, and thank you to anyone who actually reads this. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Everyone loves Ikea. The way you can get lost in the never-ending landscape of furniture, run through the rooms of decoration to attract people to buy the furniture or maybe just the delicious meatballs. And then there's that one dream, you're stuck in one, or maybe just some other mall or store yet all of us have had one right? after all, who wouldn't, getting everything it has to offer and all for yourself. Who knows how many beds you will sleep in? And all of the okay-ish fast food. Food for years! So why don't we put that to the test, of course with some twists.

I mean it's pretty self-explanatory. Requests are open, but no NSFW. I'm okay with violence, gore, and stuff like that tho. I will try to update often, but no promises. there will be gore so TW for that. SCP's and pictures don't belong to me unless I say so. Also cover doesn't belong to me. The story does belong to me, I wrote it.

Not everything is based on the real world... It can also be an ordinary IKEA... It was a Sunday, noon. Isn't that the perfect time to go to IKEA? That's what a lot of people thought. They received a call from IKEA to go to a specific location and get a specific amount of money. No, not a notification, but an urgent assignment. On that very location, they would get further explanation. Some were interested in the call, some ignored it. Those who were interested went to the venue for the promise given to them. Everything looked normal and fine, until... The characters in the book are based on real people.

Have you ever imagined yourself magically being transported to a never ending IKEA and escaping only to end up in an infinite room full of yellow wallpaper and the faint buzz of the overhead lights? No? Well this guy doesn't need to. New chapters will uploaded at least every other day, possibly more it's honestly just for me to see if people like it and if it would be worth making a new chapter or cutting the story off early.

I thought today was going to be a good day, going to IKEA to buy furniture for my new apartment. When I entered, I didn't see anyone in sight, after me getting furniture and looking for checkout, I realized I haven't seen a wall since I entered the building. I was always warned about this, but I always thought it was make-believe and now I am trapped in SCP-3008.
