Han pasado más de 20 años desde que Scrappy Doo se unió con el Daemon Ritus, un aparato con la capacidad de robar almas humanas para transformarlas en energía y convertir a quien quiera que lo use en el nuevo amo del universo, siempre y cuando quien lo use absorba un alma pura y sincera. Un plan que trasformó a Scrappy en un monstruo poderoso llamado Scrappy Rex, pero que cuando estaba a punto de lograrlo no conto con que Shaggy aprovechó que él estaba distraído como una oportunidad para arrancar el Daemon Ritus de su pecho y así quitarle todo el poder que había ganado, transformándolo en su forma original. Un cachorro que ha estado en prisión soñando con poder vengarse del grupo, el cual no solo continua resolviendo misterios; también actúa como sí él nunca hubiese existido. Todo ese odio y rencor, que han vivido en corazón de Scrappy durante estos años, lo han estado ayudando para formar un nuevo plan con el objetivo de recuperar el Daemon Ritus, solo que en esta ocasión todo será diferente. Ahora Scrappy trabaja solo. Ha estado investigando sobre las leyendas del pueblo que creo el Daemon Ritus, al igual que la actividad de Misterio a la Orden y cada cosa que hizo mal de su último plan para crear uno totalmente diferente. En esta nueva entrega veremos a Scrappy haciendo bien todo lo que en la vez anterior hizo mal para así lograr su cometido de dominar al mundo y eliminar a Misterio a al Orden. ¿Esta vez Scrappy logrará su cometido?
