Juno Li was never meant to be the main character. Not in school. Not in life. Not in the story unfolding around her-where her best friend falls for someone else, her birthday is forgotten, and she watches the world move without her. But side characters feel things too. And when the spotlight turns-just briefly-Juno will have to choose between staying in the background... or finally stepping into her own story. BEFORE YOU READ: Please note that this is written in playwriting format. If people find this hard to read, I might make a chapter book version(maybe). And last of all, THANK YOU SO MUCH! From mibiyae :)

She hated the script. He hated rewrites. They were never supposed to like each other - let alone feel anything. When the head screenwriter quits mid-production, she's asked to step in and fix the mess. Her first note? "The romance is forced. No chemistry. No truth." Then she meets the lead actor: Jacob Elordi. Arrogant. Elusive. Disarmingly observant. And suddenly, the scenes start rewriting themselves. She's all control. He's all chaos. She doesn't believe in the story. He's tired of pretending. But something about the tension between them makes every scripted line feel... a little too honest. And when fiction starts bleeding into reality, there's no edit that can save them. Velvet Salt is a slow-burn enemies-to-lovers about control, vulnerability, and the kind of love that was never in the script - but won't stay out of frame.

Zieyanna, an aspiring screenwriter who is suffering from writer's block a while ago, has always been concerned with the words she cannot find. When she is unexpectedly challenged with writing the top love masterpiece for the large firm where she works, she finds she is missing the most important factor which is the genuine experience. She has no actual experience with dating or romantic relationships at all. Walking to the company to complain, she meets Dellus, a growing famous handsome actor known for his intensity and ability to "become" anyone, a genius actor whose shows are always a success. She becomes aware of this and offers a highly dangerous experiment in order to write the ultimate masterpiece. They are going to "play out" a relationship from the initial spark to the final goodbye. He becomes her live, breathing inspiration, and the creator of their shared experiences. However, as the screenplay develops toward the unavoidable third-act breakup, the boundaries between their fake relationship and their genuine feelings begin to blur. Zieyanna must confront her first actual heartbreak-not the one she wrote for the film, but the grief Dellus leaves behind whenever the cameras stop rolling. In the piles of debris resulting from their "performance," Zieyanna learns the most difficult lesson of all: sometimes you have to leave your place as the actor's muse in order to find your own voice.

It has been five years since the death of Heather Baker. You will remember that Ryan Morgan, now age thirty-one and still working as a prosecutor for the state of North Dakota, got special permission to represent his brother, Jacob, who was accused of the murder of his best friend, Izza. Ever since Heather took her own life, Ryan has battled with a deep feeling that something more had been involved in her suicide and in Izza's death than had come to light the night Heather took her own life. Ryan finds out that his wife Mandy had been keeping a secret. What is the secret? Heather was always so kind to both Jacob and himself and everyone else around her. Ryan decided to begin a new investigation which he hoped would lead to the "real" truth, and who forced Heather into accusing Jacob for murdering Izza Miller.
