Paige Shaw spent her whole life playing basketball. It runs in her veins. Her dad, her uncles, their dad and their uncles, they all played. And the height genetics seemed to help as well. Her little brother, Blake, is only seven years old, so her father, Brandon, has to train her to be his championship winner, until Blake is ready to play football. Her basketball career is going well. She gets thrown into a whirlwind of emotions with the boy she thought was the perfect match for her. But he seems to be a different person that she never dreamed could exist. After a devastating blow to her heart, Paige is left to turn to her new guy friend. But he's just a friend, there is no way they could have feelings for each other. Right? This new problem added onto her crappy life is becoming more than she can handle. Her dad's recent remarriage has sent her life down a curving winding path, leaving devastation in it's wake.
