The story unfolds in a vast, modern-fantasy world where nearly every person is born with a supernatural ability - either a superpower (Anomaly), magic (Arcana), or in rare, almost mythical cases, both.
Civilization thrives on these gifts. Cities float on mana reactors, governments regulate power registries, and entire economies depend on those who can wield their abilities for production, defense, and innovation.
From the moment a child is born, their "Gift Manifestation" determines their future - status, opportunities, and even how they're treated by society. Power isn't just ability here; it's identity.
And yet, in this radiant world of miracles, a small, almost forgotten fraction of humanity exists:
The Nulls - those born without a Gift at all.
They're anomalies in a world that worships the gifted - pitied by some, scorned by most, and quietly erased from the official record. But deep in the undercity, there are rumors of a Null who can do the impossible: erase the powers of others.
Born in the lower sectors of Eryndor, Ren was tested for Gift manifestation at age five - and registered as a Null. His parents, once proud magic-users, became outcasts, blamed for "producing a defect."
While other kids learned spells or honed superhuman abilities, Ren trained his body. He ran until his legs bled, fought until his knuckles broke, studied every martial form, survival tactic, and combat philosophy.
He wasn't trying to be special - he was trying to survive. But through years of training, Ren began to notice something strange:
• No one could sense him - not mages, not superpower users.
• Magic and power attacks seemed to "slide" off him.
• His physical limits kept expanding beyond explanation.
The world called him powerless. But in truth, Ren's "Gift Zero" nullifies all supernatural resonance - including detection systems. His gift erases the presence of power, even his own. What they call absence... is actually his hidden dominance.
