A twelve-year-old girl dreams of scuba diving.

Ever since I was a little girl I loved the ocean, having marine biologists as parents may have helped with that. Even my earliest memory is from the sea, I was maybe 4 years old splashing around in the ocean, and I've never felt as happy as I did in that moment. And as I grew older my love for the ocean grew, I started diving at ten years old. Most of my friends I met in the ocean, except for atlas who I met when I was 5. And even now, at 16 years old, my love for the ocean is maybe the strongest that it'll ever be, maybe that's because I'm old enough to understand and see its beauty, or maybe it's because I'm old enough to understand and see her beauty.

I love scuba diving, but what I don't like is my best friend's stupid ideas. That's one of the most unbelievable reasons we got STRANDED at this stupid island! We have no water, no food, just an ENDLESS island of pure hotness and sand. Making it out alive isn't gonna be that easy.

It's amazing how you can just talk to one person and your whole life changes in an instant. That person just enters your life out of nowhere, and suddenly they mean the world to you. You look back and honestly you can't remember a life without them or those midnight conversations. Its funny even how it starts with a simple hello and then bam a year later its 2 am conversations about nothing at all. And its those 2 am conversations that can make your bad day into a good day or your good day into an even greater day. This person, after awhile, can even make your day from half a world away with that simple hello of theirs. They say distance between two friends is always hard, but how hard is it when you haven't truly met one another?
