However, The Red Room had got a bit greedy when partnering with HYDRA, they wanted a fighter much like the Winter Soilder, so they took and experimented on Azelle until she had developed heightened senses/abilities. From there she was used as a weapon until the day Natasha Romanoff escaped. Azelle was held in the Red Room for years being a Teacher to teach the new girls. Then one day she herself was able to escape. She finally settled down in Washington, SHEILD found her and she now worked as Nick Fury's weapon to wipe her ledger clean.
