He's thankful to have a nagito there for him when he needs someone to confide, get ideas and overall be a good friend, he was glad he had Nagito as a friend again. But the thing is hajime doesn't know about nagito one sided feelings for him will hajime get over nanami? And learn to open his heart for another? Or will he he not? Will nagito ever accept his feelings for hajime? Will he open himself up again to him and be real with him about his past and his sickness?
