Short story Just one I wrote a while ago when writing was not my strongest. Though improvements have been made, it's not one of my best. I want to put it up here to see what the reactions are, as this was written for a competition, but it grew far too long for it. I hope this is a good story.

The world of Pyrrhia has been at peace for thousands of years. No wars, no bloodshed, only tranquillity. Until the scavengers, also known as humans, attacked the dragons. but these scavengers are different. They have guns, armor, vehicles... and there are thousands of them. The scavengers don't only want to take the dragon's land. No, they also want to study them. The dragons who survived the invasion were then captured and sent off to America, where they can be studied in a laboratory. Prince Darkwater, a young, secretly animus prince of the SeaWing queen, Queen Coral, manages to escape the laboratory. But now he's on the run from the government and the scientists themselves.
