Two rival captains. One fractured map. A race against time. When Captain Seraphine Vale splits her crew to hunt down a treasure hidden in two places, she makes one fatal decision - forcing Kael Varyn and Mara Quinn to lead together. They don't trust each other. They don't like each other. And on the open sea, that kind of tension gets people killed. But with a rival crew closing in and danger at every turn, survival means learning to fight together. Because the treasure isn't the only thing that demands a sacrifice. And when the moment comes... they'll have to choose - gold, or each other.

You find a washed-ashore glass bottle with an antique manuscript inside. Its contents are a warning of terrible significance, as well as a travelogue with a mind-bogglingly strange progression and ending. Concise story of a very unusual style. It tells a round tale in a mere 3600 words (one might say so round, that it curves back on itself). The goal was to make it equally entertaining and thought-provoking (this time not morally, but rather as an exercise in imagination). I recommend this to anyone who loves discovery, things that are creatively unconventional, pleasantly bizarre, distant from mundanity, far earlier than present day, and way more advanced than humans... Enjoy! :) * The story's Hungarian version (my original work): https://www.wattpad.com/story/398849724

The storm should have destroyed them. Instead, it brought them somewhere else. When the Aurora's Hope, the Solarian Empire's most advanced exploration vessel, is caught in a catastrophic arcane storm, Captain Cassia Marinus is forced to make an impossible choice to save her ship. In the aftermath, she finds herself stranded in an unknown world with a fractured crew-and their former enemy now standing at her side. Lyr Windsong, once a rebel leader hunted by the Empire, knows how to survive the impossible. But survival is not enough. Not when the sea itself behaves like something alive. Not when magic twists beyond understanding. Not when the stars above them are no longer the ones they know. As alliances are tested and trust is forged under pressure, the crew of the Aurora's Hope must learn to work together or be torn apart by a world that does not follow the rules they understand. Because the storm was only the beginning. And whatever brought them here is still waiting.

Jonah has spent his life surviving the harbor. He runs errands through narrow streets that smell of salt and smoke, keeping his head down, his hands quick, and his expectations low. Hunger is constant. Danger is ordinary. The sea, just beyond the docks, has always felt like something distant and impossible. Beautiful, but not meant for someone like him. Still, he watches it. Still, he dreams. Until one morning, everything is taken from him. Forced aboard a ship and thrown into a life he never chose, Jonah finds himself among a rough, foreign crew under the command of a captain who seems constantly on edge. The sea he once longed for quickly reveals itself to be something far harsher than he imagined. It is not freedom. It is discipline, danger, and survival on a different kind of edge. And yet, among the towering sailors and relentless work, Jonah finds something unexpected. Sofia. Quiet, observant, and far kinder than the world around him, she becomes a steady presence in the chaos of ship life. Through her, Jonah begins to feel something he hasn't in a long time. Not just safety, but connection. As the days pass, the crew begins to feel less like captors and more like something unfamiliar. Something closer to belonging. But the sea does not give without taking. The ship is being hunted. Not for gold or cargo, but for something far more dangerous. Something that could change the balance of power across the waters and put every soul aboard at risk. As tension rises and shadows close in, Jonah is forced to confront a truth he has avoided his entire life. Surviving is not the same as living. Wayward is a coming of age maritime adventure about fear, freedom, and the quiet courage it takes to become someone new. As Jonah is pulled deeper into a world of storms, pursuit, and impossible choices, he must decide whether he will remain the boy who endured the harbor... Or become someone the sea cannot break.

“God took the Helm and became my Master….”  It was in my high school years when I decided to join a Religious community to become a Youth Servant Leader. We are reminded that it is not only the Priest whom we are serving during our Mass but also God the Father. Those memories gave me signs going to Priesthood because of too much holiness that I’ve encountered.Graduation Day came and as expected, I had to decide what college course to take. Everybody in the Family was waiting an answer from me. That night I drifted to sleep still busy thinking about what to do next. I might be thinking so hard about it that it entered even my dreams. I dreamed that God was calling me to serve him. When I woke up, everything seemed to fall into place. I took it as a sign that he wants me to become a priest. I told my father about my decision. However, he wanted me to become like him, a Seafarer.Being obedient, I entered in a Maritime Institution to fulfill my father’s dream and took a Maritime relate

Rings: symbolic of eternity, continuance, and the cyclical nature of reality - Ring World is, at its core, a story of two people. Paracelsus, a young man, an alchemist and a former revolutionary, and Serpacinno, the last surviving member of her people, and staunch, no nonsense swordswoman. Together, they form an unstoppable team, sure to change the world. After a chance encounter at a bar, these two form the beginnings of a crew, picking up the odds and ends of society along the way on their quest. What is their quest? To head to the center of each shell (large, target-like structures found on each face of the earth), and collect the treasure that lies there - a piece of a legendary sword, named Kósmeidí. Speaking of, the world they find themselves in is one of great magic. Humans aren't alone: animal hybrids, fairies, giants, and even those regarded as angels and demons populate this grand planet. Even the structure itself is different, instead of continents, they find themselves on a world composed of six large land structures, each in the shape of an ever-narrowing series of concentric rings.
