They say summer changes people. That the heat, the salt, the space between school years can make you feel something new - or maybe just see what's been there all along. I thought this summer would be like every other. Beach days. Late-night s'mores. Zane by my side. But that was before Harper moved in. Before Eli kissed me. Before everything I thought I knew got swept up in the waves. Now I'm standing in the middle of it all - between two boys who see me differently, a friendship that's not what it used to be, and a heart that's more confused than ever. It's funny how fast everything can change. How tides can meet... and pull you in two different directions.

* CANCELLED STORY* When Apex meets a mermaid named Radia on the beach, it's up to them and their friends to save the mer-world, before the megalodons take over the ocean. This is very loosely based on the YouTube series "Mermaid Secrets of the Deep" from the channel Theekholms. I personally love their channel and I think that Y'all should check it out. However, I have taken out some parts of their storyline as well as added my own. All of the characters have been made a little bit older by me and their appearances have slightly changed.

So Patrick's rescued me, tangled in rope with a broken wing on the deck of his ship. He nursed me back to health, becoming best friends as time passed. We spent 186 days on the deep sea, searching for adventure and having fun together. He would write every day he could and try to guess what I was thinking. Then one day comes where Patrick looks through his binoculars and sees a massive ship sinking. He throws a rope out to the safety boats fleeing the shipwreck. He rescues them, once again being the sweet guy that he is. But now that he has people friends, his little seagull friend, me, can be free, because my wing has healed. I felt that it was probably the right thing to do, and I accepted it. Things just happen like that. But now Patrick and I are best friends again. He found me and recognized me. Actually, it's more like Patrick, Pete, and I are all best friends. Just don't tell Pete that I took his iPad to write this. Anyways, these are our adventures, I hope you enjoy.
