Scientists have discovered a baby mermaid and has taken it from its pod. after studying it they decided to preserve it in a large aquarium for the world to see.

Far away in a distant galaxy, there is a planet. It's relatively similar to our earth, having the same atmosphere composition and materials our world is made of. But the only difference, no land is seen. This is a world of seas, the planet Orbis Terrarum Maris is a planet where the surface is completely composed of water. save for the many floating islands being pushes around one section of its ocean by powerful currents. And with this new world comes creatures of which the likes no one has bare witnessed. Somewhat similar to earth creatures in anatomy yet radically different. Some daring young decide to tempt fate and are never seen again. The Western Sea Serpent is one of the most feared ships on the western side of Kaladrielion. Her captain seized control when he was a young boy. The youngest captain on the seas. It was said he will steal the hearts of your children. But this isn't about him. It's about a young female and her lost brother. A lost love. Reunited siblings. And a pirate ship on the high seas.

This is my idea for my female character

based in medieval times, Cove is a regular girl in a regular village based in the kingdom of kendrith. her parents met through travelling the seas and enjoyed sharing their passion of the mysterious ocean. ever since she could remember, she adored the local beach and couldnt go a day without going to the sea water and the sun coloured sand. going into her mid teenage years, she left her passion behind to focus on friends and money for food. now a beautiful young woman, clove decides to visit her childhood beach, not knowing that there is more than the water that toddler cove loved...

The ocean keeps secrets - ones that will draw you in and captivate both body and mind. Humans only see a portion of what truly dwells in the sea. They say mermaids protect the ocean and live in it's deepest parts. Despite nautical tales, Charlotte knew mermaids didn't exist, and even if they did, such a thing couldn't have been hidden for so long. She hated the open sea and wished she could get away. Just months before her eighteenth birthday, she a found small box that mysteriously appeared on the shore. At the same time she met a cryptic boy, who seemed just as interested in the box as she was. Distracted and infatuated, her greatest wish started to become a mere dream and she started to doubt her doubts. Did mermaids really exist or was this box just playing with her imagination?
