In the search of a fresh start, Iris and her mother move to Seattle. Initially reluctant to embrace her new life, Iris finds herself grappling with loneliness and uncertainty. However, her world takes an unexpected turn when she meets her neighbour, Sean Diaz, and his family. Just when she starts to settle in, a shocking accident alters the course of her life forever. Iris uncovers a hidden secret that the Diaz family has been keeping. A secret that revolves around Daniel, Sean's younger brother. (This story is a work in progress and I know the video game was released a while ago. I wanted to try my take on the story and see how it goes!)

After Daniel's incident at the farm, Sean finds himself without memories of the previous events and is forced to leave Humboldt County alongside Finn and Cassidy to find a new home away from home. As Finnegan keeps reassuring the older Diaz of his brother's safety and hides the truth, Sean realizes that he is slowly developing feelings for the damn guy. ✂ The events in this fanfiction are purely fictional and set in time after the final of episode 3. I recommend either playing through the game or watching gameplays before reading this fanfiction as it is heavily based on the story of the game. ⚠️ The writing progress on "Lasting" began a long time before episode 4 was released. Episode 4 contains a similar setting and shares some ideas, but these are purely coincidental! The events in episode 4 will be looked over. ✂ This fanfiction is heavily focused on the romance between Finn and Sean, but there is a main plotline that the story will progress on. ✂ The cover of the fanfiction was made by me (hhwayi), but the base picture belongs to Dontnod Entertainment.

Y/N, an average 16 year old girl, was invited to your typical high school party in her hometown Arcadia Bay. It all led to a prank which she killed almost everyone in the party. Her telekinetic powers raged, creating a powerful storm that wiped out Arcadia Bay. A few months later y/n was on the run after what happened at the party and nowhere left to stay to. Her long journey led her to Beaver Creek. ( the storm takes place a few months before the Seattle incident) A/n: as you can probably tell this book was a bit inspired by Carrie. I thought the universe matches, with all the powers and stuff. Hope you enjoy!
