The two have a rocky start off, Sean being a little off set to Mark's friendly behavior, but slowly warms up to him and his group of wackball friends as they seem to grow on him. But when Mark starts acting different and not like himself, it isn't his girlfriend that comes to the rescue, but instead a certain blue eyed Irishman. This is an Olympic AU I've been working on over on AO3 for a while so I thought I'd transfer it to here. Jack and Ethan were both skaters but have a rather bad history between them. Tyler wants to help out and sends his fellow speed skater as a distraction.

What do you see when you look out your window? A safe haven, or a deadly war? Sean (Jack) Mcloughlin lived in a society full of people with supernatural powers. Everyone has a special ability, except for him. But if he had no powers, then why is he targeted for death? All he had to live with was a strange looking tattoo on his arm called The Elemental Link. His mission is to find all eight people connected to his link to be able to stop this ongoing war and it's not as easy as it seems, especially with Mark Fischbach, who is the hardest to connect with.
