"What have you done that so many people are looking for you?" "I'll never know who you are and what you do" "My heart said you were good, I was wrong" Ever since Alisha was young she saw the world as two polar opposites, like a scale about to tip over any second. She sees the obesity and starvation, the wealthy and the poor, they masters and the servants, to name a few. Unfortunately, when Alisha goes out to make a change no one believes her because she's too young according to them. They call her delusional (some even call her crazy) and tell her it's impossible for a single person to make a change. So when she finally meets a boy who understands her sentiments, she's delighted! She overlooks the fact that he may have a few secrets that can undermine her entire goal in life. The police show up, she's arrested and she still doesn't know a single reason why. Will Alisha be able to overcome the rigid obstacles in her path? Will she find out the boy's secrets and trust him when all her best laid plans go awry? Even though this story is set in India, it is open to everyone around the globe. Especially those who have no ties to India (like me)!

This is a collection of my poems. None of them are arranged in any particular order, but the dates are recorded, so I would advice considering my age when I wrote these. Enjoy! =D

The beach a place of sun sand and sea. A place where you can sit around and just relax. But not at this beach it was a beautiful beach with long white coast lines, and gorgeous black rocks, on this beach live two very different type of people and boy did they hate each other. The shellers and the surfers. The shellers love the sand and loved all of the beautiful shells which they would pick up, some sold the shells just as they were and some painted the shells before selling them. They were always excited when they came across a shell which no one had seen. On the other hand there were the surfers, they were obsessed with the water and catching the next wave. They would do public shows and even taught lessons to make money. But no matter how much they made all they truly wanted was to catch the next wave. Now these two people hated each other because they thought the other was lazy. How could the surfers stay in the water all day how lazy of them. But all shellers did was search the beach how could that be productive at all. Well when one sheller saves a surfer everything about their lives change. They learn how important the other is and how even if it seems like they are wasting time they aren't, neither group is lazy, nope just have a passion they commit their life to. What will happen when one meek sheller rescues the man of his dream, who just happens to be a surfer? Will they find love, or will their hatred be to strong? Kinda like Romeo and Juliet by the sea lol.

I write about my memories in a somewhat pretty way (according to myself at least) whenever I feel like being a female version of a shittier Victor Hugo. After every story there will be a recommended song to listen to as you read. Enjoy my mediocre writings. -Christiane

What seemed like a normal Summer vacation by the beach would soon turn into something so thrilling, bittersweet, and heartfelt when he met someone who would change his life forever by the cliffs. "Umm, slight problem, unlike you Fish Boy, I can't breath underwater!" "Oh right, I forget how fragile you surface dwellers are." "Fragile! Really? I should have just let you drown!" "I can't drown." He added simply, as if he were the normal one. But nothing about any sorts of this was 'normal'. "Yes, I got that!" I threw my arms arms up in exasperation.

My name is Coral Wave. I get my name after my families’ small obsession over the water. I stand at four foot ten inches, I have long blond wavy hair that is dip dyed aquamarine blue. My choice of clothing is natural beach themed things. Most of my time is spent on the beach. Listening to the crashing waves and collecting sea shells. I don’t know why I collect these things but I guess you could say they calm me down and gives me the chance to escape from the rush of everyday life. I also have a small collection of salt water pearls, which are beautiful, and I plan on making into a bracelet. The end of the summer holidays are coming to a close and these last few days will be the rush of a lifetime because I’m moving up to high school and let’s just say I’m the type of girl that doesn’t fit in very well. I’m that one person that doesn’t fit in to any type of group. I’m the oddball. “Hey there Coral! Excited about high school?” asks my best friend Ashley running up to me her shiny bronze ringlet curls bouncing behind her. Ashley’s beautiful. There is not a single flaw on her face no freckles, no spots…nothing! She should be on the next cover of “Perfect” magazine. “I guess so……it’s just you know I won’t fit in at school so I really don’t have a clue. Should I hide in the shadows? Or should I step out and say I’m the weird one with no were to go!!” I shout as I flick my ocean waves over my broad shoulder. “Oh come on Coral!” Ashley says as we turn to the ocean her skirt swishing in the slight warm breeze “You’ll find some sort of group and if you don’t just say the word and I’ll be by your side faster that you could say friend!” Ashley gives me a wink and jogs along the golden sands of Seashell Bay.
