Ness Singer-Winchester had been pregnant when she had the Mark of Cain, leaving her and Den's children, Aiden and Amara, with effects from the mark that they didn't fully realize until recently. Baby Aiden had always had the ability to sense evil, no matter what the creature. Amara had always had the ability to tell when someone was lying to her. Lucifer himself told Crowley who told the British Men of Letters that if both Aiden and Amara had had a near death experience at the exact same moment that the two twins would be linked, unleashing their powers, and also causing Aiden to grow up to the age of Amara, who's age had been accelerated before due to being possessed by the Darkness. Now that Aiden and Amara are linked, Aiden had to grow up from being a toddler to being Amara's age. And now both twins are set on learning about their new powers and how to control them. While Dean and Ness are happy to have them together as a family, they're also very worried about what could happen to them, and they had never wanted this life for their children, but knowing that they won't have a choice anymore. Brandon Davies is also former British Men of Letters that had been on the run from the Brits after Ketch killed his father Mick. Brandon got justice for Mick when he killed Ketch, but when Ketch comes back from the dead, Brandon will have to face the fact that they may need him, though he won't forgive him, and neither will the Winchesters. Brandon and Amara are also closer than ever. All of this while welcoming Jack into the family and wanting for Cas to come back and trying to save Mary and Jack from the Apocalypse world, it will be a very busy year for the Winchesters.

In ninjago, the ninja are happy, they just defeated King Vangelis. They were hanging out outside, enjoying the night sky, waiting to see the Asteroid that was reported going to fly over them. With smiles their eyes watched as they chatted. Wu was proud of his ninja, they had gotten out of their funk from the season before and now were better than ever. Misako came out to join them just as the Asteroid passed. He, her, and the ninja were all sitting on the ground now. Wu turned to Misako, enjoying her happy expression. The same expression he knew the ninja most likely had. The Winchesters just received the most unexpected of the calls and now their life is on the verge of undergoing another, perhaps just as radical change. After losing his mother and his best friend, Dean found himself in a very dark place, unable to share Sam's stubborn hope that Mary might be alive and refusing to mourn Castiel. He's been stuck between trying to cope with their losses, with the aid of unhealthy amounts of alcohol, and being unable to hold back his anger issues, of which Sam and Jack have become the unlucky main targets. The reunion with the angel, while, on one hand, shines a fresh ray of hope on the boys' path, on the other puts a spotlight on the mistakes made in the previous weeks and brings up issues that have been ignored and avoided for too long. Cas is determined to reconnect with Jack and try to fix the relationship between Dean and the nephilim, together with helping his best friend to heal. This assuming that he can get through the older hunter first. Because getting Dean Winchester to talk about his feelings can turn out to be as hard as stopping the umpteenth apocalypse. Could a possible, spooky-looking case offer the chance to break the impasse?
