Writing prompt: Your wife changes her hair color every season and her personality changes slightly. You're secretly only in love with the autumn wife. She just came home sporting her winter color. I love this idea, so I've begun to write a story about it. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Aurelia is a woman suffering from a disorder which causes her appearance and personality to change with the seasons. Her wife, Tera, hasn't quite grasped that despite their marriage lasting for 3 years. When a treatment is finally found, they make their way to Niallport, but Tera is losing the ability to cope quickly. Will Tera still be able to love her wife? Or will the treatment bring out a whole new woman?

This story is based of a haiku but instead of nature I'm using day, night and other space related stuff and personifying them. The duo Day and Night are solar deities who each take turns helping Earth have its daytime and nighttime. One day however, both of their powers are stolen by Apocalypse. The personification of all things disaster. Not wanting to danger the world, they go on a quest to retrieve their powers.

Hayden Peirce has never been too fond of the Christmas season. It was all just a little too over the top for her. The perfect excuse to have a hundred social gatherings, the excessive use of Christmas lights, the constant singing, drinking and eating. It was just too much. She'd much rather curl up in a ball in front of the fire with a good book and a hot chocolate. Chris Stevens has a secret soft spot for the Christmas season. All the little traditions and decorations. The sweet smells floating in the air that are just so distinctively Christmas. He loves it all. And he's especially a sucker for the mistletoe tradition.
