In the fictional country of Asterra, four young mages "aerins" struggle to overcome their twisted fates caused by the soul keeper's forbidden curse "Aeshira", an act of sorcery that allows souls to swap to another body. Eris, a great assassin fights with the Aerin's leader. In that fight, Eris got hit by the leader's sword and almost killed her. In order for her to live she used the forbidden curse and thought her soul was already on someone's body, but the act of the curse failed. Kyren, the young master of the Lee family, harbors a dark secret about his birth and seeks Eris's help to change his destiny.

For many years, the Tornit have made their living in the Alaskan woods, traveling from town to town, gathering what they could to survive until a group of humans from the Yukon arrived. As a result, a campaign was launched from the Yukon, Alaska and Greenland to capture all the Tornit. At first, it looked like this was the end for the Tornit following their capture. The official kaiju paradise game has changed a LOT since i started writing this story. Information and lore may be different. Season 1: (Finished) Jason and his younger sister Ava discover a mysterious, furry-infested facility while strolling in the forest. They get yoinked into the facility, and in order to survive, they must know who to trust. Along the way they make wavering friendships and run into dark betrayal. Can they survive this facility before being infected into the blood-thirsty, so-called Gootraxians? Season 2: (Finished) Years have passed, and Jason and Ava make a shocking discovery on a seemingly normal day. An old newspaper that was years-old is discovered by the siblings, announcing the facility had been discovered, and has been shut down. Gootraxians have been captured and experimented on. The only way they can prevent the goos from being brutally murdered and tortured is to go back into the facility themselves. Will they be able to escape freely? What friendships - and betrayals - will be formed? Season 3 (Finished) Continuation of season 2! Season 4: (In progress?) The facility was a prosperous community. All was peaceful. All was well. ✄┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ contradict♡ry... explores the daily lives and struggles of teens balancing high school, their home lives, and social relationships in this fictional world, specifically, following the two mains with their contrasting upbringings; the perspective of Sage (mostly) or Aspen. Though it does go into romantic territory, which will be recurring throughout, it delves deeper into the respective lives of the main characters and how they are both affected by the home they grew up in despite having vastly different arrangements. Extending to how they both respond, have clashing personalities, relationships with addiction and their peers, and constant conflicts with themselves or others, there's rarely downtime reading through Sage or Aspen. With that, this focus includes all the other characters, who deal with their own struggles and individual personalities, but, at the end of the day, lands on them being teens.
