Sull'unica terra di un universo dimenticato, abitavano tre razze: serpenti, giganti e draghi. I serpenti avevano l'obbligo di mantenere la pace e la neutralità che in quell'epoca regnava. I giganti rinchiusi nel sottosuolo, ormai vuoti, cercano di sopravvivere stando uniti e lavorando. Infine i draghi, razza dominante in superficie. La trasgressione e la voglia di cambiamento causerà un disastro ciclico che spezzerà l'ordine e la pace che ormai regnava da molto tempo.
