When Mayleen's parents got divorced her father decided to take her in his home country America. In the big city of Seatle Mayleen struggles to settle in but to keep her Dad happy she doesn't complain and goes to a new school. She tries to make the best out of her new situation and hopes that soon she will have friends and be as happy as her father. But at first she has to master every day life and that will turn out to be a big challenge. Especially when her heart decided that some American boys are actually cute...
