There's one day in Melissa's life that means something to her, her brother's graduation. She never had her own, that's why it means so much to her. On the way to Seattle High School, where the graduation will be, Melissa get's in a car accident. There's firemen and paramedics. And then, there's doctor Owen Hunt. Gisele Shepherd hadn't seen her big brother for a few years, so she decided it was time for a visit. During the visit, she has to make a choice. Stay and work with her brother and stay in Seattle, where she would have to start over and make a new life. Or head back to LA, stay with her sister and pick up where she left off.
