Duke Richard Bowen is at odds with himself. After being confronted with an unpleasant truth (his mother's adulterous behavior within the very walls of the estate) and his fiance since the age of five reminds him of their impending nuptials, he coasts. He finds himself on a writing retreat of his own design skipping out on duties as duke and Fiancé to Nini Salazar Roberts for the summer. He comes home to his entire world changing. Charlotte Summers has had the biggest crush on Ricky Bowen for years but of course she never said anything because he has always had his eye on Nini Salazar-Roberts. When they got together she was devastated but with some help from her friend EJ Caswell, she was slowly getting over it. But just before junior year starts you hear the news that EJ is dating Nini and on the first day Ricky and Nini officially break up. You guys then hear about the musical and Charlotte decides to audition but so does Ricky. She thought that maybe now that Ricky was single he might notice her interest. He does and she believes that they were starting to form a relationship. Once opening night happens she decides that she was going to tell Ricky how she feels. But that didn't exactly go to plan. So now you want some payback for your broken heart and your friends were helping you get it.

his is how I want Season 3 of HSMTMS to go. *note* some things I can sing happening within the story if we get a season 3 and somethings will forsure won't happen. This is my first fanfic!
