Seclusion Stories

Faron, an art school dropout, lives his life with a shadow looming over him. After his parents lost their lives in a car crash two years ago, he has lived a life of self seclusion in his parent's cabin in Emerald Lake State Park, Tennessee. He leaves his house as little as possible, often only to drive into town to check his mail. Faron, consumed by the past, finds himself only breathing by the sheer will to live. With only the vast woods to keep him company, he has no relatives, no friends, and above all else, he can't seem to find the joy in life he once held so dearly. The only constant human interaction he has is with a cheery man who delivers his groceries, and with the memories of his once happy life haunting his dreams, Faron can't seem to escape his imprisonment. However, his time spent alone in his cabin is coming to an end. With a strange energy in the air, a creature as old as time is born onto the earthly realm, bringing with it the pursuit of an evil just as old and ten times hungrier. With his life flipped over on its head, Faron has no choice but to adapt. The question is, will he survive, or will the darkness consume everything in its path.

It is now 2145, Evelyn was born in the Garden sector. But, when the government gave her a match(husband) it happened to be a powerful man in a completely different sector. The sector considered to be bad. Although, it doesn't seem so bad. Until she looks deeper, and starts to figure the government out.

I begin to rock back and forth a top a wall, unaware how I got here, my knees still hugged into my chest. It seems the more I rock the closer I am to plummeting to the ground, I continue, hoping to fall and end the torture I am feeling inside and out. With one last rock I fall back, screaming at the sudden jerk of my body. Falling seems as if an eternity, and the closer I get to the ground, my sweet release, the slower I fall. Rain continues to pour, thunder and lightening blocking any sound of my crying. And it finally happens, I hit the ground. I jolt up as my back hits and scream in agony. Then I see it. If you finally achieved everything you set out to accomplish do you know what you would do next? Would you find another challenge? Or relish in your achievements? This story is about a Musician. He obssesses over all forms of Music and even thinks their is information inside Music that we can't understand. He catches glimpses sometimes but none of it makes sense. It is unclear when and where we find our Musician. He has obviously fought very hard to get to this point. So very close to the source. His little machines assist him throughout as he desperately tries to pry loose a sound that will not leave a room. Spectacle.

It's kinda stupid. But I like it.

Michael lives with his parents in the wilderness of Alaska, he has a nice life and his parents try to keep him secluded from the corruption of society and keep him cut off from the rest of the world. They succeed until he's picked for the draft, along with thousands of other boys across the country. Will he have time to learn of all of the things society has to offer, or will he die not knowing about Starbucks?

A young girl living in a small room secluded from almost every human being. Her little world and lifestyle seems absolutely normal to her. She is unable to imagine a far better life than this one. Until she meets another person just like her who would inform her of the many wonders -and disasters- of the outside world.
