Hunger plagues Alec, leading him to make incredibly rash decisions; like stealing from the Queen's kitchen. Unexpected things come from his crimes when the beautiful princess stops her mother from sentencing him to death. To Alec, the whole situation is way too good to be true. She's beautiful, kind, and loves him. Or so he thinks but when he meets a simple but lovely girl in the market place, he learns that not all is as it seems.
