"I often feel unwanted, so I keep quiet in the background of those more precious than me." Charlotte Parker. Timid. Shy. Innocent. Beautiful. And overwhelmingly sweet. But Charlotte isn't the perfect girl that everyone thinks she is. This supposedly perfect and sweet girl has her own demons that she is hiding from. She will never be perfect enough for her parents, or pretty enough for her sister and good enough in her opinion for anybody or anything. So she dries her tears each morning and puts a fake smile on so nobody will see she is dying inside. She becomes the sweetest person that she can be so she can show the kindness and love that was never shown to her. Until somebody just happens to stumble upon her and sees straight through her broken smile.

Madelyn Tate and her best friends Bonnie and Elena are ready to start their sophomore year. With Elena's emotional baggage and Bonnie's new found psychic-ness and Madelyn's mysterious past these girls are ready to start over. As Elena falls for Stefan Salvatore the new hottie in school, Madelyn can't help but fall as well. It soon turns out that Madelyn's feelings are not the only think she's hiding. Dahil sa isang pagkakamali ay nagbago ang pagkakaibigan nina Yzak at Kara. Nagbunga ang isang gabi nilang pagkalimot na isinisisi sa kalasingan. Buo na ang desisyon ni Kara na itaguyod ang dinadala nang mag-isa. Handa rin siyang bitiwan ang lahat-ang career niya, mga kaibigan, at ang kanyang fiancé-para sa magiging anak. Pero sadyang madamot ang pagkakataon. Natuklasan ni Yzak ang tungkol sa bata. At handa itong talikuran ang nobyang sampung taon nitong hinintay at minahal alang-alang sa obligasyon.
