I wrote Adrienne's story as part of a seminar at my university. The course was called 'Writing weird tales'. It immediately piqued my interest because I love being creative and wanted to be challenged by writing in a different genre and a language other than German. So... here it is! Let me know what you think :-) I won't share details about the story. All I can say is that it is a mysterious and very dark story about a girl finding out about a power she never would have imagined. We all know a mystery is only a good one if we don't know much beforehand, right?

And on top of it all I have an extraordinary memory that won't allow me to forget anything good or bad since the age of four, but all of these combined can at times seem unbearable. All seemed well for a time as I had five best friends and we shared a special S.E.C.R.E.T. club, until I realized that I had no choice in losing my best friends and fellow club members at the age of eleven years old. But things could only get worse when seven years later the past mistakes I, Samantha Amelia Masier, have never been able to forget come back to haunt me. This story is of mistakes and forgiveness, heartache and happiness. Watch as my life unfolds in a way even I never imagined possible.
