Long before crowns and castles, the earth stood alone.
It is said that when the Sun first touched the Earth, its light lingered, seeping into the Earth's soil, water, and air. Where that light settled, life awakened, not merely as flesh, but as will.
Humans, animals, elves, and beings lived together beneath the sun-dappled trees. But where light gathered, shadow followed.
A ruler arose, blessed with the Will of Light, able to command without corruption, containing the darkness that threatened to seep into the world.
Thus, the first ruler of Ananta was crowned, and by the combined will of all who dwelled beneath the forest canopy, a White Castle rose at its heart, not as a fortress, but as a binding vow between ruler and land.
A connection to the forest itself.
