Sectioned Stories

Saoirse Court is a 17 year old finishing up her junior year of high school in her small hometown. Or is she? When she wakes up one morning in an unfamiliar place, her entire life and sense of reality are questioned as she struggles through this new maze to figure out who she really is.

This is my second book of poems. They may not be poems to some people, but to me each one has a meaning and is based around something very close to me, someone, but mainly myself... It's my way of letting the emotions out, expressing myself. There's a lot in here, and at times they may be confusing, but that's me. I'm no longer a straight forward, care free person. I'm now someone with a fairly complicated life and at times one I don't even understand anymore... I may sound just like another poetry writer which to some I may be, but every poem is a part of my life and something I've got through or haven't got through. Thank you for reading this, it means more than you'll ever know, and I am not just saying that... I mean that<3 It might make more sense if you read the first book by the way...

Samantha Rye lives to succeed; If she does not, she will die. In The River State, one out of every three citizens are proven to give nothing to their community. To weed out those citizens, The River State must dispose of one of every three siblings. When Sam's brother is chosen as the weak link in their family, she finds herself curious at what exactly happens to these 'Useless Citizens'. When she goes off in search of answers, she finds out much more than she wants to know, and begins to wonder if it would be better to forget these things, or to fight them.

Layla is a 15 year old with erratic visions. But one day after being taken away, she is introduced to a boy who changes her life in just a matter of days.
