After the newest Plague, America had been turned into a nation of protection, where a world leader from the remaining, functioning countries has been selected. These countries are Britain, the United States and Australia. The New Nation has made many changes to the world, but the biggest by far is the Light Law. Darkness has become illegal. 100 years later, nobody from the previous generation remains. Nobody has ever seen the dark.
