When transfer student 𝐊𝐢𝐦 𝐉𝐮𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐧 arrives at Yeongdam High, the whispers reach the halls before he does. "He got expelled for fighting. He's dangerous. Stay away from him." While most students accept the rumors without question, 𝐆𝐲𝐞 𝐍𝐚𝐛𝐢 can't ignore the uneasy feeling that no one has bothered to learn the truth. Seated beside him in Class 2B, Nabi discovers that the quiet boy everyone fears barely speaks above a whisper. In small, unnoticed moments, he reveals a gentler side-sliding a pen onto her desk before she can ask, offering his water when she forgets hers, and laughing softly at jokes meant for no one else. The more she gets to know him, the less the rumors make sense. As her friends warn her to keep her distance and the whispers grow louder, Nabi must choose between following the crowd or standing beside someone she believes is being judged unfairly. Meanwhile, Juhoon struggles with the weight of a past that seems determined to define him before he can speak for himself. When the truth finally begins to surface, Nabi risks her reputation to defend the boy everyone fears-and Juhoon must decide if he's ready to be seen for who he truly is. Because sometimes the loudest lies are the ones everyone believes...and sometimes love begins in a whisper.

Being alone for the holidays are touch, especially after a breakup. I created this short story in hopes of helping anyone who is coping with being alone this holiday season. I would appreciate any feedback!
