This story is a HISTORICAL FANTASY with GENDERBENDER (TG) & GIRLS' LOVE (GL) themes. In the misty depths of October, Finley MacDonell, a 13-year-old boy, traveled to the Isle of Skye with his uncle, Professor Fingal MacDougall, and his two assistants to assist with the archeology dig at Dunvegan Castle. Finley had always been sensitive to the unknown, experiencing unexplainable visions and sensations. However, upon arriving on the shores of Skye, he caught the attention of the faeries. One fateful evening, Finley's life took a drastic turn. While searching for his teammate, Conall, he stumbled upon the man mauling a seal pup. Finley attempted to intervene, but Conall's drunken rage led him to drown the boy in Loch Dunvegan. The seals, witnesses to the tragedy, begged the selkie faerie to spare Finley's life. The faerie, moved by their pleas, used her magical coat to restore Finley's life, but at a steep cost: he would forever be 'fairy marked.' Adopted by Queen Áine of the Seelie Court, who transformed him into a female Daoine Sìth named Finnea. With large butterfly-like wings and pointy ears, Finnea embarked on a new life, leaving her human past behind. Two years have passed, and Finnea has almost forgotten her life as Finley. She now scouted the boundaries of the Unseelie Lands, ever vigilant for threats to the Seelie Court. However, upon discovering the slaughtered Unseelie faeries, Finnea rescued the Unseelie Queen from an iron bell and rushed back to the Seelie Court to warn them of the return of the ancient Fomorians.

Everything was perfect, but nothing can be perfect for long. Isla and Emeile are now further apart than they've ever been, the world breaking into pieces underneath their feet and suddenly the humans and faeries are forced to work together in order to save the planet they call home. However, things aren't all that they seem, the cause of this disaster is hidden beneath a veil of worlds, each slightly different from the other. Summery There was a garden where two courts of fairies lived Seelie and unseelie. The too fairy courts wanted to live together in peace. So the two courts got together and came up with an agreement that their children will get married to each other and bring the too courts together. However the brother of the unseelie king did not like this plan. He was one of the many unseelie fairies that did not want to be with the seelie fairies.

Dinsmore was founded by Alan Hannigan and his wife, Fingula Cedarhill. Hannigan fell in love with his fey wife, and she fell for him in return. However, they were shunned by both of their kinds, so they created a place of their own. Dinsmore grew into a hub for in-betweeners, half-breed fey, changelings, and humans with magic. It is now a large city bustling with fey and humans alike. Here, the fey are more human, and the humans are more fey. Dinsmore is isolated from the human world, and is unknown and unseen. The fey who live in their own world are known as Other-Siders, and are feared, and avoided. Hope Nowak and Taylor Peacock are the only two humans in their friend group.
