Once again, Mal and I fled, we went on to live a new life. Mal and I had built an orphanage in Keramzin and hired a caretaker to help us. Mal still loved Zoya, but he also loved me. He though he was winning me back, everything was going good. That was until one day a certain Prince showed up at our doorstep. Nikolai shocked me by coming to the orphanage after several years. He knew I hadn't been the same since I left Os Alta, but he still loved me. He made an offer to me to come with him to The Wandering Isles for some unattended business. Zoya returned with Nikolai to stay with Mal if I accepted his offer. Mal was furious and ended up arguing with me. This hurt me so i made up my mind, i went with Nikolai. After a long trip it was time to return back home, and Nikolai asked me if I would come back to Os Alta. He offered that Mal could come back also and he could hire servants to watch the children. I shook my head, and agreed to return with him, but Mal needed a normal life. So we stopped and told them what we were doing. Mal was furious once again, but I told him I had to. So I returned with Nikolai. It was all going good until one day something changed. P.S. in this story it was told that Alina disappeared and was still alive. (Told in Alina's POV. I thought I had seen the last of his nichevo'ya a long time ago when we were on opposing sides of the war. I shake my head. "No. No, what are you doing? Wait!" I send the Cut barrelling at the monster. It dissociates into nothing only for another one to take its place. Again, I send the Cut through the abomination, but it was only a diversion. Another one forms behind me, capturing my arms to prevent me from summoning. It holds me above the ground.
