Akashi isn't Aomine's closest friend. In fact, he is avoided by him the most for all of his rebelliousness. Akashi is a he, after all. It means there won't be bouncy boobs Aomine can enjoy at the school rooftop. Akashi cares only for Tetsu, amongst all members of Kiseki no Sedai. He's like his caretaker trying to fulfill every single wish Tetsu whispers to his ear. Yet Aomine is there, confessing his love to the possessor of the emperor eye.

Love is a dangerous aspect of our emotions. They corrupt us, thinking we will do everything and anything at all for the people we love. But everyone has their way of loving. If we choose a path to love someone with all our hearts to the point we'd go through so much bullshit only to prove and claim who is rightfully ours 'til the very end, thus, let me tell you a story.

Aori is just a daughter of a mere servant in the Akashi household. Or is she not? Her only escape for the time being is video games which give her a pleasure of 'defeating' Akashi in the 2D world. But can she win in reality too? She simply wants to prove him that she's the one possessing her own life, that it belongs to nobody else, but will he ever let go? He'll chase her down, he'll go anywhere after her and he'll bring her back to him. Because his word is absolute, and it says that Mizuru Aori belongs to him.
