Akashi isn't Aomine's closest friend. In fact, he is avoided by him the most for all of his rebelliousness. Akashi is a he, after all. It means there won't be bouncy boobs Aomine can enjoy at the school rooftop. Akashi cares only for Tetsu, amongst all members of Kiseki no Sedai. He's like his caretaker trying to fulfill every single wish Tetsu whispers to his ear. Yet Aomine is there, confessing his love to the possessor of the emperor eye.

He wants her to be his life-sized doll, he wants to see her grow into a beautiful woman that his mother once was so he can see her again. He takes Aori under his wings, but doesn't realize that those wings are suffocating her until she actually tries to break loose. Her only escape for the time being is video games which give her a pleasure of 'defeating' Akashi in the 2D world. But can she win in reality too? She simply wants to prove him that she's the one possessing her own life, that it belongs to nobody else, but will he ever let go? He'll chase her down, he'll go anywhere after her and he'll bring her back to him. Because his word is absolute, and it says that Mizuru Aori belongs to him.
