After hearing rumors that people from Kouka are being taken to a nearby island and sold as slaves, Yona and the Dark Dragon and the Happy Hungry Bunch go to investigate. Yona's presence awakens the sword of the prophecy in the form of a female enslaved bodyguard. Will they be able to free the slaves of the island and take the sword with them? Will the sword embrace her strange new destiny? This story is being edited. Plot being rewritten under the new title, "To Protect and Defend." This story will take a new direction.

Seiryuu--soon to be called Shin-ah--couldn't have been more surprised when a boy stumbled out of nowhere in the maze-like tunnels of his village; the boy with eyes similar to Ao's, hard and dead, with a glint of cruelty that was probably forced, and, more importantly, a boy that was close to passing out from a fever. Knowing the treatment of outsiders by his people, Seiryuu takes care of the boy himself. The same day the boy, Eren, wakes up, is the day that Yona, the exiled Princess of Kouka, arrives to take Seiryuu away from the darkness to join the other dragons, and Seiryuu refuses to leave Eren at the villagers' mercy. Eren, for the first time outside the walls that protect humanity from the titans, can't help but see the wonders of Kouka as he travels. But he also sees the cruelty and darkness that Yona is just beginning to see, and accepts her request to join their merry group (despite the protests of Hak and Kija) and aid the people of Kouka. Princess Yona, firstborn of King Il has long crimson hair which she hates. Princess Yuri, the younger twin sister has long orange hair. Yuri has always been in the shadow of Yona. But one their 16th birthday, Su-Won, a boy Yona fell deeply in love with long ago, kills their father. On the run with their body guard, Hak, they try to live, not wanting to be in the grasp of that man. When battles rage on, tests continue, will Yona and Yuri be able to survive? As a new quest and new friends arrive, will they be able to carry on the weight they hold on their shoulders?

Yuri is the younger princess of Kouka Kingdom. Yona, her elder sister, has always been loved more than she but Yuri never minded. Because ascending to the throne and asking for hands in marriage just wasn't her thing, Yuri was more adventurous than her sister. Being Yuri, she would leave the castle for about half an hour before going home. Usually, no one noticed, since they were either busy, or worrying about their hair. Her love of singing and reading don't match her personality. She tends to zone out after a few minutes of talking and smiles a little too much for most people. It's also hard to serve the princess because she enjoys doing things on her own, at least when no visitors are around. If visitors arrive, Yuri must put on a face and act formal. However, now the clock is ticking to her 16ᵗʰ birthday, where her cousin, Soo-Won comes. Once eager to see him, now everything is turned upside down when Soo-Won finally reaches his goal, killing their father.

A seishins' duty is to protect their priestess. The Priestess is to gather all the warriors and be able to summon their perspective gods. In order for the summoning to be complete, a seishin mustn't die. What are the roles of the Guardians in the Mysterious Play?? Follow their eccentric journey in finding the seishins' and summoning the Suzaku.

Vienna shared everything with her sister Yona. The same clothes, the same room, the same title of princess, the same love interest. The only thing one would think that the sisters didn't share, is their hair. Yona had red, unruly hair, while Vienna, the youngest sister, had long, silky purple hair. Both girls were raised by their kind and loving father, King Il. Throughout their life, Yona grew up without a care; never knowing of strife or unhappiness save for her mother's death. As she was the eldest princess, she was forbidden to go outside for her safety. Due to living inside, she remained oblivious to the affairs of the country though also even to the happenings in the palace. Vienna grew up with curiosity, and would often leave the palace in secret to view the kingdom's condition. Despite being young, she resented her father for not doing anything in order to get vengeance on the rebels that killed her mother. But everything changed once their father was murdered.
