"I can't do it" I said "Come on baby you have to learn to fight for when I'm not here anymore, I won't be here to protect you" she said I turned to her "Mom this is too much why can't we just go back with dad" "Avianna! shut up and do it" she shouted I turned around and grabbed the gun in my trembling hands remembering everything my mom taught me on how to hold it I did just that. I held it up and aimed it at the target. "Ma I cant do it" I cried to her. Growing up hearing and seeing guns is one thing but to actually use one is a whole other thing She rolled her eyes "Avianna Erika Vega do you want me to go call Alejandro to encourage you?" "n-no! no ill do it" I said and turned back to the target Come on Avianna you can do it, just one little thing. I tried to control my breathing and tame my trembling hands, I aligned the gun to the target...... and I pulled the trigger. BOOM ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Avianna Vega has been through a lot throughout her fifteen years of life. From being taken from her dad and five brothers when she was just five years old. To being abused and brutally trained to kill by her step dad when she was just 7 years old. Her mom dying, causing her to runaway and change her name to not risk being found by her step dad. To her brothers finally finding her when she's fifteen and bringing her back home. Happy ending right? wrong. Shortly after finding out she has a neurological disorder called epilepsy, she is now faced with the fact that she has to find and kill her step dad AKA the man who traumatized her. yet throughout all this she still doesn't know who she is. TW: this book has scenes that may be triggering for some readers such as ABUSE and SEIZURES

When Charlotte is shipped off who knows where to Cavalon, a 'correctional facility for troubled teens' that specializes in disabilities and injuries, she doesn't know what to expect. What happens when Charlotte and her roommate Ace, a broody tall dark and handsome type boy, starts to get suspicious of Cavalon and its motives? Can a group of sarcastic, rule breaking, limit pushing teens break the system once and for all and escape this place? I'm not great at descriptions but just check it out, it will be worth it :)

After three years away, eighteen-year-old senior Cora Boone is finally free and returning to her hometown of Stilllight, deep in Southern Appalachia. Her record runs a mile long, stacked with detentions, suspensions, arrests, and every bad decision she could make before she was sent away. But buried somewhere beneath all that chaos was one person who ever really knew her. While Cora was locked in the Marrowbend Institute, fellow senior Hollis Greer was quietly diagnosed with a rare seizure disorder. He only told those he needed to, and never let it define him. He learned to hide it, paying close attention to his body and keeping a careful hold on what no one else was meant to see. Nothing threatens that careful balance like Cora Boone walking back into Stilllight. Old memories surface. Old instincts flare. And this time, the thing he's fighting to control might not be his seizures, but what he's always felt for her.

some oneshots written in the postictal stage of my seizures. they will probably be very typo-riddled and nonsensical because of how out of it i tend to be, but writing fanfiction has always been a good coping mechanism for me and i've found it does help in this situation as well also, i should clarify that i have pnes, not epilepsy so, while obviously the seizures do still suck a whole lot, they do not pose the same dangers that epilepsy does. i unfortunately do have them pretty frequently (especially when stressed), but you need not worry about my livelihood

In my book, "Dancing Through the Darkness" I invite you into my world, where I've faced many unexpected challenges while passionately pursuing dance and striving for success in school. Life, like dance, is a mesmerizing tapestry woven with moments of triumph and moments that test our resilience. Throughout my journey, I've encountered moments of vulnerability, where my body would unexpectedly betray me, causing me to lose consciousness. But instead of allowing these setbacks to define me, I've discovered the strength to rise above, embracing the art of adaptation and the power of unwavering determination. In "Dancing Through the Darkness" I share the raw emotions, the triumphs, and the invaluable lessons learned along the way. Painting a vivid picture of how I've navigated the challenges of passing out while still pursuing my passion for dance. Within the pages of this book, you'll witness the soaring bird-like grace of my dance, as I ignite the stage with movements that consume my very spirit. You'll experience the vibrant brushstrokes of my artistry, as I paint a vivid picture of resilience and determination. Through the rhythm of my dance, you'll hear the symphony of my story, a story of unwavering dedication and the unyielding pursuit of dreams. But "Dancing Through the Darkness" is not solely about dance. It's a testament to the delicate balance between pursuing excellence in education while navigating the unpredictable nature of my health. I share the strategies, the support systems, and the unwavering determination that have allowed me to continue pursuing my dreams despite the obstacles. Join me on this extraordinary journey of self-discovery, where passing out becomes a catalyst for growth, and where dance and education intertwine to create a symphony of resilience. Through "Dancing Through the Dark," I hope to inspire others to embrace their own unique challenges, finding strength and solace in the rhythm of their own journey.

I have memory issues, this is just a place I can put them so I can remember them. They won't be in order. I'm just putting it down when I remember something I think I'll want to remember later and that I think I'll forget if I don't write it down. Obviously, this will be personal, but isn't most all writing if you dig deep enough? If I can remember the date or around what time it is, I'll put it.
