In a war torn kingdom, the royals will do anything to save their thrown. In this kingdom a color is given to each child when they are born, reflecting their personality, likes, dislikes, strengths, and weaknesses. Their color is everything. The caste system has been replaced by these colors, each having its own social status. In a hope to save the failing kingdom the royals host a selection. 15 girls competing for the two princes' hearts. Love, loss, fear, danger, and a broken crown. Welcome to the selection.

Thirty two ladies and gentlemen, eight for each royal, are chosen to become the new princes and princesses of Illea and Angla as the royals have all become of age. Who will win the hearts of the royals?

Prince Alastair needs to get married to break a curse that was placed on him when he was a baby. The curse is said to not affect him until he's 21 years old. No one knows exactly what the curse will do (except the king, queen, and prince who keep it to themselves), but the only way to break it is true loves kiss. His parents decide to host a selection on his 21st birthday to try to find his soulmate as soon as possible so the curse won't last long. TW: homophobia

Lyra and Elodie married six months later and quickly decided to adopt children. They adopted a set of twins - Princess Avonlea and Prince Alistair. Three years after the twins were adopted, Lyra and Elodie adopted Princess Aisley. Now, Avonlea and Alistair are 21, meaning they are of age to have their Selections. But a question arises: who will ascend to the throne and be crowned?
