I stared at the application form in my hand. It was for the Selection which was when the prince became of age and 35 girls went to compete to win his heart. I honestly didn't know how to think about it. I was excited, but not excited at the same time. I loved the idea of it but all the same, I thought it was stupid... Annalise is an average five, she loves to sing and to do any sort of medias of art. She has a sister, a father, and a mother who lives at her decent house and has decent jobs. She would be on the higher end of the fives, but she didn't have as many luxeries as a four... Until she was chosen for the Selection. All characters belong to me! This story takes place years after America and Maxon's infamous selection, when their eldest child, Tedros Schreave has recently turned 23 years of age. After getting rid of the castes, Illea's inequality problems still aren't over, many don't want to abide by these new rules. In an attempt to raise the people's spirits, America and Maxon asked Tedros to hold his own election since he is of age, and he agreed. Now a new round of the selection tradition begins. One young woman, Fae Forrest (I know it's ironic) enters the selection, with her only goal to make new friends. But as you can likely guess, she finds much more than just that.
