Seven years ago, Mafia Don Antonio Duarte's wife left their home in Italy with their baby daughter, leaving Antonio alone with his four sons. Antonio was heartbroken to lose his baby daughter and spared no expense in trying to find his ex-wife and his baby girl. Anastasia has grown up with her mother and her mother's husband, Gerald. She's been the victim of their abuse for as long as she can remember and doesn't understand why her Mommy would make her come and live with this man. But her Mommy also says that Ana's daddy doesn't love her. Because she's a girl. Because he is an evil and dangerous man. Ana hasn't spoken a word since meeting and moving in with Mommy's new husband when she was three years old. Gerald doesn't want to hear from her at all, so she doesn't speak. Anywhere. To anyone. Ana just hopes to make it through each day. When a social worker and two police officers come to collect Ana from school, she learns that both her mommy and Gerald have been killed. Across the ocean, Antonio Duarte learns of the death of his ex-wife at the hands of his associates. He learns that his baby daughter is in the care of Social Services until a more permanent solution can be found. Antonio is going to get his daughter back. However, he has no idea how broken his daughter is. His sons don't know how to treat or communicate with their baby sister when she returns home. And poor Ana doesn't know who she can trust anymore.

June has never been one to open up. But a series of letters has her pouring her feelings out to a stranger. The journey of healing is often more satisfying than the destination. This story deals with anxiety disorders and selective mutism. This is something I've struggled with since I was a small child and this story is loosely based around my life and experiences. Hopefully this gives some insight into what it's like to not be able to speak or go somewhere without fear. It took me a very long time to find my voice, but the journey was freeing. - Amanda

This is a fanfiction based off of the selection series by Kiera Cass. Only SOME of the characters are hers. In a dystopian america there is a monarchy that every time the prince comes of age, they will select 35 girls to fight for his heart. You've probably heard the protagonists side of the story, but what about the others? This year there are two princes to fight for and some people have very different motives for winning the crown.

Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) is an exhaust aftertreatment process that minimises the harmful nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions produced by diesel engines. The SCR reduces nitrogen oxide (NOx) molecules to molecular nitrogen and water vapour. A nitrogen-based reducing agent, such as ammonia, is used to trigger a chemical reaction in a catalytic converter that turns pollutants into harmless gasses.

The Selective Exam in New South Wales, Australia, is a test taken by Year 6 students to gain entry into selective high schools. While the exam is challenging, it provides several benefits to students who pass it and are offered a place in a selective high school. One of the main benefits of attending a selective high school is the high quality of education that is provided. These schools often have experienced and qualified teachers, advanced resources, and excellent facilities that are designed to help students achieve their full potential. The curriculum is challenging and encourages critical thinking and problem-solving skills, which can help students to develop a love for learning.

Westwood High student Jarod Kim is a selective mute. But, to the people around him, he appears to be unable to speak. He doesn't respond to his name being called. He doesn't talk when he is asked to. So they all assume that he cannot speak, because why would you choose not to speak? Along comes Miss Violet Erinsol, the smart, popular girl. She is assigned to be Jarod's tutor during junior year and immediately felt as though there was more to him than he was letting on. She wanted to know what exactly was going on inside his head. With Violet's bubbly personality and Jarod's too-loud music, they will growl, feel and perhaps even fall in love together. • SOCIAL MEDIA • Instagram: @ gracereinkeofficial Website: https://gracereinke2023.wixsite.com/gracereinkeofficial

Iris Reed is starting her last year in high school. She just wants it to go by as quickly as possible and be invisible to everyone else. She wants to start a new life far away from her small town in North Carolina and try to be a completely different person. Her plans are interrupted by huge problems in her life that she just can't get through on her own. It doesn't help that she has selective mutism. With the help of her best friend Baylor and a new boy named Caden her goals might just change. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is my first story on here. I'm very excited to see how it goes. This story is mainly around Iris dealing with her selective mutism. I wanted to write a story about selective mutism because it is something I go through and it is very real to me and hard to deal with. Thank you to anyone who reads this.
