This came during a time when I really started focusing on who I really am, WHAT I am, why I belong, etc. - all the questions that I was occasionally told were pointless by people whom I looked to for these important answers. Following little support from those around me on my impossible quest for knowledge of the unknown (the self) and the "true" nature of things, I became obsessed with introspection about my mind itself. This led then led to the creation of this abstract description of consciousness.
