i'm sorry this is so old and awful, go to my ao3 profile (oizyssionned) for the more developed stuff. The ache of his ribs fills him with dull euphoria. He can feel it. This is his doing. (at some point, the lines between rigorous control and despairing chaos intersect) He sees their looks, of course he does. But there is a sick sense of satisfaction in being seen even as you feel yourself disappear. Marvel oneshots mostly about mental illness there's a lot of repetitive themes because i can only write about what i personally have experienced or shit that overlap in terms of symptoms with mine yes, this is me shoving my emotional baggage onto marvel characters. it's quite visceral. these one shots could be viewed as being in the same universe but also sometimes not, decide whatever you want. more than half of them are likely to be about eating disorders- i'm currently struggling the most i ever have with mine lmao

'Would you have been angry?' Emery straight away asked, her head lifting up to meet his eyes. 'Angry?' He asked, disbelief clouding his vision. 'Why on earth would I be angry?' His voice changed drastically and his eyes turned soft. 'Why would you want someone that was broken?' She asked back, tears welling up in the back of her eyes.
