If there was one way she could escape her everyday life, that was by thinking. She loved to think- sometimes a bit too much, even. She thought of what it would be like if she had a sibling. Or if she had superpowers. How things would've been if her parents hadn't split. How different a life she would've led if she hadn't looked the way she did now. She also wondered what a book about her life would be like. Well, here it is. ~~~~ This is a story about a girl. No boy, no epic romance. Just a girl, against the world. In a story about letting go, and most importantly, learning to be yourself.

The weight of quiet things is a collection of poems about what lingers, the words swallowed, the love left unnamed, the feelings that never found a voice. Each piece is a small offering: a pause, a reflection, a place for unspoken truths to rest. This book is for anyone who has ever carried more than they could say out loud.
