Selfawaregenshin Stories

Just your regular SAGAU (god-ish au) story. Maybe. Y/N is your typical Genshin Impact player, building characters, reading lore, sometimes fanfics, and simping for characters. How would a simple human like them react as they get transported into the game they love and cherish so much? Y/N's experience with the game is based on my and my friends' experiences such as friendship level, when they started playing, builds, and stuff like that. Mainly doing this for some much-needed writing practice and entertainment lol. Also, this is my first time writing an x reader fic, I'm writing this (or at least attempting to) as gender neutral and POC friendly so if any descriptions swing one way a bit too much or I make any pronoun errors please point it out ^^

Idc about anything other than typing this out while the app's updating so- I'd be using my username from the game here so don't think this a Reader x Self Aware Genshin rather, an Author x Self Aware Genshin story. This is mostly my experience with Genshin from the first day till recent. And what my characters might be feeling during this experience. I'm not doing Yandere. I hate that genre. And shoo-shoo if you're looking for self-inserts, 'cause this is not for you. Well, feel free to read, I guess. The synopsis? They're self aware.
